The Division of Community Care (DCC) works closely with other City of Northampton departments as well as community organizations
The Division of Community Care (DCC) works closely with other City of Northampton departments and community organizations focused on mental health, suicide prevention, substance use treatment and recovery, harm reduction, and other public health priorities.
During the implementation process, consultants and trainers with expertise in crisis response, de-escalation, and community engagement are offering guidance and training to the DCC to ensure we are running as effectively and ethically as possible. As the DCC continues to grow and evolve, we expect that many experts and organizations will emerge and be essential in their guidance and experience within the community.
